As you can probably tell from the previous posts, I love any statement piece and try to wear one per outfit outfits, be that a bag, jewellery or coat etc. What about you guys?
This is one of my most favourite bags. Burberry is a brand I love as it is so quintessentially British, and always has a classic and crisp cut about its designs. I also believe in supporting home grown designers so the likes of Stella McCartney, McQueen, Vivienne Westwood are all brands I try enjoy wearing and supporting (that’s not to say I don’t like a bit of French and Italian luxury either!).
This ‘Orchard’ bag was from Burberry’s SS13 range and as soon as I saw it I just fell in love. I was travelling to Saudi Arabia and spotted it in T3. Its such an unusual green but funnily enough you can wear it with any outfit and it really complements everything well. Its made from a grainy leather, which means it will wear well and the leather wont look so distressed. It is always a talking point when I wear it and it is really roomy. Unlike a lot of leather bags like Celine and the Rocco, the leather is not very heavy on the arm and it fits in so many things, very practical for a long day away or for the office. I really have my eye on a Burberry trench coat but think I need to be good for now and save up so maybe next year! I’m going to try and review and share some pieces with you guys that I have and will give you my thoughts on whether they are worth it in my opinion, as I’m often asked what items are worth investing in.
BTW how cute are these ankle boots from Topshop?! I love anything with chain detail and these are some of the most comfiest shoes I’ve worn.
Have a great weekend!
