Dubai Style Diaries – Part 2

By Samia — September 18, 2014

I’m really missing the holiday vibe and not having the stress of working and the craziness of the everyday routine! Recently the Editor of Hijablicious got engaged and its been a whirlwind crazy busy that we have never experienced! Planning a wedding and juggling work and family life is nothing short of hectic, so reflecting back on our recent holiday to Dubai is really making me nostalgic.

I love seeing what people wear on holiday and a huge fan of white. I think its such a peaceful and relaxing colour, especially on holiday. I know a lot of people usually wear it all year round but its rare to see that in the UK, its a colour I definitely associate with summer. I had been looking for the perfect pair of white trousers for months. I wasn’t keen on purchasing a pair of jeans due to the high temperatures in Dubai they just wouldn’t be comfortable for all day use. I did some research online and these white Jeggings from Next had rave reviews. They really do live up to their reputation, they are super comfy, non sticky and really breathable. If you don’t want the tightness of jeggings then its worth going up a size or two, they do come up quite small and tight so I get two sizes up.

Have a great week and we will see those of you heading up to the literature festival in Bradford next week! More details here!
