Quintessentially British

This outfit is typical me. It channels typical quintessential British fashion which (call me biased) I think is just timeless and chic. I tend to covet British designers amongst most others when it comes to clothing (Hobbs, Jigsaw, Burberry et al), accessories hands down the French are in the running (sorry!). I’ve always been drawn to neutral colour palettes and a Mac trench coat is the epitome of classic in my opinion.

We will soon be on a panel at the University of Arts for the launch for Dr Reina Lewis’s book on the 20th October (further details here if you would like to pop along!), to which Hijablicous contributed and where we will be talking Fashion, faith and whats to come. Just like Great British Bakeoff worthy winner Nadia demonstrated about being more British in her mannerisms, way of live and food palette, equally I think most women who choose to dress modestly still want to be able to marry their fashion style with their British identity… the topic is endless so come along and join us to discuss this further!SONY DSC
