T-shirt Policy- Oud Love

By Samia — December 12, 2013

This style post is the second in our series featuring the upcoming company, T-Shirt Policy. Our first post, which you can view here, featured the popular Turban Lady tee, and has since gained a lot of fans who love its bold style. Today we are featuring a second t-shirt sent to us by the company.

I am already a large fan of statement t-shirts, as they can add to an otherwise simple and uncomplicated outfit. Even in winter, you can continue wearing them, layering underneath and on top, so don’t let the weather stop you! This one has particularly become a favourite because of the colour and design, mimicking Arabian Oud perfume branding.

Oud, which is also known as Agarwood (taken from specific trees), has a strong and distinct smell. Used to create perfumes, Oud has gained popularity in the West over recent years. You only have to walk into Selfridges or one of the larger department stores and you’re instantly greeted by a sales assistant trying to promote one of the latest ¬†fragrances to you.

Furthermore, Tom Ford recently brought out his Oud inspired fragrance range, Armani Prive caught on to its popularity a while ago, and now one of my personal favourite designers Victor Rolf, have released their limited edition Oud fragrance. I definitely recommend trying a few, they last much longer then conventional perfume as they are more concentrated.

When I saw this Oud inspired t-shirt by T-shirt Policy, I instantly loved it. It is effortless chic and something you can definitely wear dressed up or down. As you can see from our Instagram we love it a bit too much! (@_hijablicious_).
