Summer is the month of long flowy dresses, weddings and end of term proms. Want inspiration of what to wear? Read on!
We get a large number of emails and queries from young fans asking for advice on what to wear to proms and weddings in summer and most importantly how to do this with a modest twist but at the same time making the outfit look stylish.
Did you see the best dressed at this years BAFTA’S? Those topping the best dressed list this year with outstanding style were wearing creations from no other then House of Fraser, yes thats right House of Fraser took the style stakes by storm! This ‘ Floral Penny’ dress (kindly given by House of Fraser) does just that. It is from the ‘Dickens and Jones’ collection (I love everything in the collection, so cute!) and it is one of my favourite pieces. It’s a lightweight, elegantly cut dress that can be worn both up or down depending on the occasion, I particularly would wear it for a Prom (boohoo I feel so old!) or for a summer wedding, especially one outdoors. What I also like is that the dress is sleeveless so depending on the occasion it can be worn differently. Naturally I have worn a very thin and lightweight contrasting cropped jacket to give it a bit more of an elegant look.
What do you guys think of the look? Let us know. Lets hope we have a summer filled with sunshine!
