My outfit today is a bit smart casual. I love this dress so much which is probably why it’s been in my wardrobe for the last 4 years. It’s something you can either wear out for dinner or even for a quick coffee. It’s an oversized tunic which on its own looks like I’m about to take off and fly which is why I have accessorized it with a belt to tuck in the waist. I don’t normally wear a black scarf unless my outfit needs to be toned down a bit, but there’s nothing that can match a black hijab to add a bit of chicness.
The bag is one of my favourites and has often made appearances on the blog, another post it is featured in can be found here. The shoes are a pair I bought last summer from H&M. Metallics were really in last summer and I think it gives a bit of edge to the outfit. One of my new year’s resolutions for 2014 was to optimise the clothing I already have before buying more! Therefore anything I do buy will only be something I really need (let’s see how long this last for!). Plus I have so many heels in my wardrobe and need to start wearing them more often.
Looking forward to the weekend!
