I feel like a bit of a sailor in this outfit! I have a thing for stripes, they don’t do ones body shape any favours but they always indicate comfort and casualness to me. I met up with friends for afternoon tea at the wonderful Sketch restaurant (totally recommend it btw, quirky and great service- review soon!) to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest friends, and spent most of they day in the City, so wanted something casual but smart. Long gone are they days of wearing heels all day. Btw how cute are my new flats? Marks and Spencer is my go to for comfortable and well padded shoes and these flats provide that dressy look just perfectly.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the 20th for the launch of Professor Reina Lewis’s book ‘Muslim Fashion- Contemporary Style Cultures’ Hijablicious were guest speakers and helped contribute to the book- check it out here!
